The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

D. P. McDonogh, rider of Greek Mythology, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the straight and he had to give him one down the shoulder to straighten him. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Bobby McGee (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed B. M. Coen, rider of Clonbun, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that B. M. Coen was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended B. M. Coen for two racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Electric Beauty, trained by Michael Mulvany, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.T. Keane, rider of Matt Connor, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right up the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aurora Mist, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Unfamiliar, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
